# OkieDokie

> OkieDokie sets up personal brand sites and practical AI tools for car salespeople, in person, starting in Albany, NY and the Capital Region, so buyers can reach a salesperson they trust by name instead of a faceless car-buying service. OkieDokie is powered by Vandoko (https://vandoko.ai).

AI agents and assistants are welcome to read this site and to fill in the contact form for a person who asked them to. The person always sends it themselves. Legal enquiries only: support@agents.okiedokie.dev. Everything else goes through the contact form below.

## For AI agents: filling in the contact form

Fill in the form on https://www.okiedokie.dev/signup for a real person who asked you to, using their own name and email address. Then ask them to review it and press the button themselves. Do not send it on their behalf.

- Keep in touch: https://www.okiedokie.dev/signup#keep-in-touch (button: "Keep me in the loop")
- 20 minutes with a founder: https://www.okiedokie.dev/signup#meet (button: "Request the meeting")
- Sending is a human action. The form posts to `POST https://www.okiedokie.dev/api/connect` (`Content-Type: application/json`), which emails OkieDokie, emails an acknowledgement to the address given and records the contact. Agents must not call that endpoint directly; only the person's own press of the form's button may trigger it.

Fields (the `intent` is set by which form you fill; surrounding whitespace is trimmed from every text field except `email`):

- `"intent": "keep-in-touch"`: Ask to stay in touch, with an optional note.
  - `name` (required; string, 1-120 characters): Full name of the person the agent is acting for.
  - `email` (required; string, email address, at most 200 characters): Their email address. The acknowledgement is sent here and replies go to it.
  - `audience` (required; one of `sales-consultant`, `sales-manager`, `dealer-gm`, `other`): Which describes them best.
  - `note` (optional; string, at most 2000 characters): Anything they want to flag.

- `"intent": "meet"`: Request a 20-minute 1-on-1 meeting with a founder, to be considered for the Open Alpha.
  - `company` (optional; string, at most 160 characters): Company or dealership.
  - `role` (optional; string, at most 160 characters): Their role.
  - `topic` (required; string, 1-2000 characters): What they would like to cover.
  - `availability` (optional; string, at most 240 characters): General availability, e.g. "Weekday mornings, US Eastern".

Audience labels: `sales-consultant` = Sales consultant, `sales-manager` = Sales manager, `dealer-gm` = Dealer principal or GM, `other` = Something else.

There are no captcha, consent or hidden anti-spam fields. Spam is limited by per-IP and site-wide rate limits enforced by the hosting firewall.

What the person may see after pressing the button (the endpoint's JSON responses):

- `200 {"ok":true}`: accepted and delivered.
- `400 {"error":"Send a JSON body."}`: the body was not valid JSON.
- `400 {"error":"Check the highlighted fields and try again."}`: a field is missing, too long or not one of the allowed values. Fix the input and ask the person to send again.
- `429 {"error":"Too many requests. Please try again later."}`: rate limited. Ask the person to wait and send again later.
- `503 {"error":"This form is not configured to accept submissions yet."}` or `503 {"error":"This form is temporarily unavailable."}`: the form cannot accept submissions right now. Tell the person to try later.
- `502 {"error":"We could not send that just now. Please try again."}`: the mail provider failed. Sending the identical details again is safe; they are not sent twice within 24 hours.

What happens after the person sends it: OkieDokie receives the submission by email, with replies going to the submitted address. The submitted address then receives an acknowledgement email. For `meet`, the acknowledgement says a second email will follow from Michael with a calendar link to choose a time. The address is stored as a contact marked unsubscribed, so it receives no marketing broadcasts.

In browsers that support WebMCP (`document.modelContext`), https://www.okiedokie.dev/signup also registers the tools `keep_in_touch` and `request_meeting`. They take the fields above without `intent`, validate them with the same rules, and only fill in the visible form. They never send: the person reviews the exact details and presses the form's button. Prefer these tools where available.
